NEW BEGINNINGS FOR PCD
Many exciting things are currently going on in the world of Paige Chapman Design.
To summarize…
My status: Exhausted.
My time: Limited.
My downfall: Keeping up with Real Housevibes.
My outlook: Pumped.
As some of you may know, I live in the Historic East Row District of Newport, Kentucky. The biggest fundraiser of the year for our beloved Historic Foundation is the Victorian Christmas Tour. As some of you may remember, my home was on last year’s tour! But this year, I have decided to step up and Co-Chair the Christmas Tour (with the outgoing Chair who is serving her 7th and final year). It has been a busy season preparing for a big event. Not only is this the Victorian Christmas Tour’s 30th anniversary, but the newly restored General James Taylor Mansion is on the tour this year. Me, my co-chair, and some other wonderful neighborhood volunteers have had a large part in decorating it. It has been such a fun and special experience to be able to create a little bit of Christmas magic in a space as grand and extravagant as the Taylor Mansion. The tour is THIS Saturday & Sunday, December 7 & 8, from 12pm to 6pm. I highly encourage anyone and everyone in the Cincinnati area to come out and experience the spirit of the holiday in our charming little slice of historic heaven.

Deciding to step up and chair the Christmas Tour is not the only “New Beginning” that I have to report. This week I started a new job, as the Project Manager at Collective Spaces Design Works: a local Interior Design firm that specializes in the design of libraries, public spaces, and other high density storage facilities. I plan to continue to pursue residential design endeavors through Paige Chapman Design, alongside my new role in the commercial design. I’m optimistic that being more intertwined in the world of designing will also allow me to be more active with my blogging (here’s to hoping…). I’m ready to see where this next chapter takes me, and I’m thankful to have all my house-vibers along for the ride.

Looking forward to seeing all of the amazing homes in this year’s historic tour. Best of luck in your new design role.
Thanks momma bear 🥰
